The Sitkovetsky Trio has signed with Impresariat Simmenauer for worldwide general management, becoming the first piano trio to be represented by the agency since its founding.

Violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky comments:

It is an honour for us to work with what is widely considered as one of the most prestigious agencies in the world. We are especially thrilled to be the first Piano Trio to be chosen to join the incredible roster at Simmenauer and we look forward to working together as we look towards our 15th Anniversary and beyond.” 

The Sitkovetsky Trio performs regularly in world renowned concert halls including Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Frankfurt Alte Oper, Wigmore Hall and Lincoln Center. The ensemble celebrates its 15th anniversary this season with performances across the UK and Europe.

Recent highlights include the release of a new album of Ravel & Saint-Saëns trios (BIS-2219 SACD), which has been praised as “ravishingly done” (BBC Music Magazine) and “at once virtuoso and even-handed … a really beautiful performance” (Gramophone). The Trio is also currently recording a complete Beethoven cycle for BIS Records. The first instalment (BIS-2239 SACD) was released in time for the composer’s birthday celebrations in spring 2020: “the Sitkovetsky’s Beethoven stands up well in a crowded field and whets the appetite for future instalments” (Gramophone).
